Professional Background

Christopher J. Wahoff is a diplomat and international development strategist with extensive experience managing public investment portfolios and cross-sector initiatives throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. As CFO and COO of CLF Cordillera Advisory Group, he leads the firm’s global operations and financial strategy, helping governments, multilaterals, and corporations navigate complex political and regulatory environments to drive sustainable growth.

Before founding CLF Cordillera, Christopher held senior roles with the World Bank Group, the Organization of American States, and the U.S. Department of State, where he advanced governance reforms, peacebuilding efforts, and private-sector partnerships in fragile and emerging markets. His work combines deep policy insight with operational expertise to deliver solutions that strengthen institutions and unlock investment opportunities across the region.

He holds a B.S. in Business Management and Economics from Boston College and an M.A. in Latin American Studies and International Development from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
